"From the studio that brought you Iron Man" comes yet another over the top hollywood marvel action.

I did see thor in 3D though I don't think it was worth it and there were no general 3D effects in the movie at all.
I've seen like 6-7 or something 3D movies and my conclusion is that it's not worth it, It just makes everything darker and harder to focus on and in atleast Thor i see no reason to watch it in 3D unless that's the only format they show it in in your cinema. Although I do belive that Thor is a good movie to see at the cinema because of all the grand special-effects and wide pompous scenery. Long story short, watch it at the cinema but not in 3D.

Plot recap follows (semi spoiler alert)

Thor son of Odin is just about to get recognised as the rightful heir to the throne but the ceremony is forced to a pause when Odin realises that frost giants have entered Asgard. Thor in all his fury takes his most loyal soldiers and against his fathers will he travels to the frost giants planet. There he more or less starts a war and when Odin hears about it he banishes Thor from Asgard, taking away all of his powers.
On another planet a small group of scientists (Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård and Kat Dennings) are out in the desert observing elecromagnetic fields when suddenly a man falls from the sky.
What they don't know is that he is from another planet and the son of the mythological Odin, but without his powers he's unable to prove it.
Meanwhile in Asgard Loki is ploting against Odin to take over the throne and spread chaos upon the realm.
It is now up to Thor to regain his powers and save his home.

So as I said this movie was about what I thought it would be; flashy, intense and a bit cheesy.
Put together it becomes a spectable that fits on a movie screen or possibly a big flatscreen.
Anyhow it brought out some laughter too and some nice flashy action.
I think all of you have seen a marvel action movie before and this is another in the collection,

My score is 6 out of 10. Watchable and enyojable.
